I am an LMHC(Licensed Mental Health Counselor), board certified in the State of Iowa. Over the past 25 years I have had the privilege of helping children, adolescents and families by working for 13 years at Orchard Place as a residential therapist and school based therapist and then I worked at Broadlawns Focus High School doing individual, group and family therapy. I have done private practice for the past 12 years. I worked at New Heights Counseling for 6 years and am now starting my own private practice in West Des Moines in October, 2023. I accept adults, teens, families and couples. I have experience working with Reactive Attachment Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Abuse, Grief, couples, etc. I use DBT, CBT and mindfulness skills to help clients manage their stress.
