I love working with folks who might not know their own potential, who are finding their identity, have never been in therapy, or don’t want to be in therapy. I use my sense of humor and down-to-earth attitude to help create a welcoming therapeutic space. I graduated from UCSD with a major in Visual Art and and later decided to follow my passion to become an art therapist. I earned a Mental Health Aid / Advocate Certificate and went on to complete my Master’s in Clinical Art Therapy at Loyola Marymount University. I regularly use Art Therapy, Family-Systems, DBT, and Person-Centered approaches in therapy. I’m excited to use my creativity, mindfulness, and compassion to help individuals and families work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and identity needs. I also have extensive experience working with clients experiencing schizophrenia and addiction, along with the families who support them.
