I am passionate about working with older teens as they make their way into the world and adults as they build healthy, successful lives. I partners with clients who struggle with unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem /or ADHD. My goals is to help them process their past, gain coping skills, and find a new perspective on the way to healing and inner peace. I provide a lot is a lot of psychoeducation and vocabulary as I have found that sometimes clients (to no fault of their own) just don’t have the words to describe what is causing the distress. I love to utilize EMDR to help process hopefully resolve the distress David received dual baccalaureate degrees in Counseling Psychology and Biblical Studies, then completed a Master’s degree in Social Work to obtain his LICSW. He is a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CCATP); he is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as Attachment/Trauma Focused Therapy (ATFT), I wish to collaborate with my clients on their journey of healing Each person journey is unique- like learning to identify their emotions, effective communications, advocating for their needs, or even rephrasing a simple statement "Whats wrong with me " to "What happened to me". I am grateful to have a career that I can walk alongside people on their journey
