My approach is very patient-centered and always focused on empathy and creating lasting change. As a psychoanalyst, I work in an in-depth way that tries to take seriously what might be happening outside of awareness. The people I work with range from those suffering from anxiety, depression, and trauma to those who come in simply for relationship issues or greater self-understanding and growth. I have extensive experience working with people who have difficulty maintaining lasting and healthy love relationships. I am a graduate of the Supervision Study Program at The Psychotherapy Institute, Berkeley, and a Training and Supervising Analyst at my training institute, The Insitute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. I offer in-depth psychoanalytically-informed supervision to licensed therapists who want to deepen their understanding of psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Training and Supervising Analyst: Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Faculty Member: San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. Analyst Member: American Psychoanalytic Association and International Psychoanalytical Association. Former Faculty: Newport Psychoanalytic Institute and Seattle's Center for Object Relations.
