I am an experienced and empathetic Family Therapist, specializing in adoption, foster care, trauma and grief. My goal is to hold space for people to share their stories and work toward healing. I have over 18 years of experience working with people from diverse family constellations. I enjoy helping them find a way to move toward a better future. I primarily use Narrative Therapy techniques to help people share their stories and gain insight into their lives. I am also trained in the Beck Model of Cognitive Therapy and in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). As an adoptee myself, I understand the unique challenges that adoptees face when navigating relationships with biological and adoptive families, friends and other significant people in their lives. I enjoy working with anyone impacted by adoption to navigate this process.
