I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and have experience working with infants all the way to older adults. I can work with a range of issue but I specialize in trauma resolution. Exposure to trauma and chronic stress can lead to a variety of symptoms including behavioral, emotional, and psychophysiologic symptoms (those refer to symptoms ranging from physical symptoms such as digestive upset and headaches all the way to autoimmune conditions). The good news is that healing from trauma is possible and can be incredibly transformative. While I use an eclectic approach to therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE) is foundational to my work. SE is a short-term naturalistic approach to the resolution and healing of trauma developed by Dr. Peter Levine. I also have extensive experience in infant mental health and early intervention and I include sensory motor interventions. I bring a strength-based approach to my work.
