I am a Medical Psychologist, licensed to prescribe medication in the state of Louisiana. My clients range widely in ethnic and cultural background, economic status, and sexuality/gender status. BCBS (PPO only) accepted. At this time, I am accepting new clients for medication consultations, and for short-term therapy (3 to 6 months). I have limited availability for in-person meeting at this time. Out-of-pocket fees for psychiatric prescribing: $250 Initial consult. $125 to $175 for follow-up appointments. Out-of-pocket fees for therapy: $175 per meeting. I am a board certified psychologist and certified psychoanalyst who also has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I lean heavily on scientifically supported psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, positive psychology, and mindfulness approaches. I have a special interest in helping artists, writers, designers, and academics work through creative difficulties. I work frequently with the LGBTQ community.
