Aloha, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for over 18 years. My approach to therapy is to build trusting relationships that allow for honesty and authenticity. I assist those I work with to recognize their natural potential, and innate gifts to move past unhealthy patterns and heal old wounds. In the work, we focus on acquiring tools to live in our ever changing world, developing new narratives and cultivating increased awareness. I specialize in trauma related conditions both current and in childhood, as well as depression, anxiety, self-harm, parenting, couples and family conflict. In therapy I draw upon my training, research and experience in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Hakomi basics with a Somatic focus, Ego Psychology using IFS principals, Attachment theory, Family Systems and EFT for couples to promote sustainable change.
