I also help with self-esteem and identity issues by understanding where these feelings come from and working towards greater confidence and self-acceptance. We can do this by reconnecting with your childhood in a way that is healing and releasing. If your life has been marked by trauma or overwhelming experiences, I consider how your body holds trauma and work at both verbal and nonverbal levels to help you resolve these issues. Together, we will discover how your unique life experiences impact who you are today and how your natural drive to become your best self aids in your healing process. For trauma, I help you gain control over your life using evidence-based trauma therapies, namely EMDR and Trauma Center-Trauma Sensitive Yoga. I have a special practice in that I consider the mind-body connection. If it feels appropriate to you, we can practice very simple, trauma sensitive yoga to help you feel more connected to yourself and others and empowered to take control of your life.
