My specialty is helping people manage all the things life throws your way. Childhood disappointments, a floundering marriage, a job you hate...or lost. Perhaps you have a sudden fear to drive a car, you feel generally unhappy or are dealing with the grief and loss of a loved one. All in all life can be hard. Transitions and relationships are what life is all about and I'm good at lending a hand. I bring to my work a kind spirit, a keen intuition, 25 years of problem-solving expertise and an ability to laugh (often forgotten in the therapeutic process). I provide support, insight, education and an objective yet caring point-of-view. My approach tends to be creative yet practical, interactive and solution-focused. I frequently assign homework to keep things moving along. I have both an MBA and an MSW...to get to the head and heart of matters. Certified in MBTI, CBT, EMDR. Advanced certification in Imago Relationship Therapy and my husband and I teach Imago Couples Workshops.
