There are times in life when we all could use some help. You may be experiencing grief or anxiety after a change in life circumstances, or you may find that patterns of relationships with others are getting in the way of the life you want to lead. I approach clients from a highly individualized, strengths-based perspective. My counseling philosophy is grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which helps clients identify and commit to their values; and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which helps clients reframe patterns of negative thinking. I have extensive experience with clients who experience anxiety and those whose lives have been impacted by traumatic events. My preparation includes intensive training in couples counseling and advanced grief and trauma therapy.
