Tamara Hagy-Lopez is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, parents, adults, and families in a variety of clinical and school settings. I have also worked a lot with families who have lost loved ones to addiction and incarceration. I feel comfortable working with are depression, women's life challenges, life transitions, mid-life problems, interpersonal issues, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, parenting, mood disorders, anger management, blended families, adoption, and underserved population. Building rapport by learning about the person from their perspective and providing a validating environment is how I start. If I can't meet the person or family where they are, I can't expect them to feel comfortable addressing what is often too scary to face themselves.
