I take an inviting approach to counseling, and collaborate with my clients in their healing. I believe people to be resilient, and know that we all get “stuck” sometimes. I work with my clients to identify their strengths and resources to get “unstuck” and move toward thriving in their lives. I see individuals from all walks of life struggling with a variety of stressors from depression, traumatic experiences, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, burnout/resilience, relationship strain, to any other issue that could be a road block to living a fulfilling life. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and believe in a holistic approach to counseling. My experience in community mental health, primary care, and EAP counseling give me a unique insight into how health conditions affect all areas of life. I use evidence-based approaches to help my clients attain their goals, and am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. I typically work with ages 16 and up.
