I believe that all individuals deserve a safe, warm and inviting environment to work on goals that make change possible. My goal in the therapeutic process is to allow individuals to explore in a supportive, collaborative manner. I incorporate person-centered therapy where clients have the ability to process, create goals and ignite change into their lives, whether that be mentally, emotionally or spiritually. I enjoy working with individuals who are 16 and older that may be struggling in areas that include anxiety, relationships, depression, life stressors, trauma and other areas that may be found during the journey of therapy. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals regulate intense emotions, acceptance and work on changing harmful behavior patterns. I also utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help reframe our negative thinking that at times can result in harmful behaviors. Both of these modalities can promote healing, change and a healthy life. I know that taking the jump to share personal issues can seem very daunting, however, I would be honored to work through the healing process with you.
