Life presents itself as a series of obstacles with some higher than others. Seeking help is hard enough, and it's my job to ease the process by offering my clients a warm, empathetic, and safe place to address their challenges. Therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist to understand a client's current life narrative and to reimagine a new narrative that aligns well with a client's goals and perspective. If you are struggling with a particular issue, or prefer a safe place to express yourself, I am happy to help you explore your issues. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, various approaches drawn from Narrative Therapy, ART, Brainspotting, Redecision Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing strategies. We will discuss these approaches to match your needs and preferences while we are in session together. My clients typically tell me how much better they feel after one session. Rapport building initially and I want to hear your story! I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or like they are giving up their past to someone they don't know.
