I am a North Dakota native, who for the past 37 years has worked with children, youth, and adults in a variety of different settings and professional roles. I have worked for Juvenile Court; Public Schools (K-12); Therapeutic level foster care; youth/family runaway prevention services; and hospital based mental health programs providing mental health and addiction services for youth/adults/families. I will always work with the client to determine the best treatment focus, and method, in an open and collaborative manner. I utilize an eclectic range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, Solution & Strengths Based Focused strategies. I provide treatment for a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, stress management, grief/loss issues, parent/child conflict, and marital issues. My focus is to strengthen awareness of personal values, spiritual beliefs, and relational skills the person already possess to best manage life challenges. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work in '86 from the University of Denver, and have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) since '03. I accept all major insurances, and Medicaid; with flexible hours to best serve the client's schedules and needs.
