I work with people who need help with anxiety, depression, trauma and victimization, grief, school issues, social and relationship problems and parenting issues. I have completed a certificate in the Secure Beginnings, program which helps to address postpartum depression and other attachment issues. I also work with people who are struggle with medical problems. I speak fluent Finnish helping cultural integration and diversity issues. I am a licensed clinical social worker with primary training in psychotherapy, trained in both children/adolescent and adult psychotherapy. Prior to obtaining education in mental health, I was a registered nurse. I have been in the mental health field almost thirty years working with diverse population. I established a private therapy practice in 1998. I have been a field supervisor for multiple counseling interns from various graduate schools for about 16 years. I currently offer supervision to therapists who are working toward licensure and consultation to therapists/counselors, school faculty, and medical professionals.
