Hi there! I’m Andrea and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve been working as a therapist for the last 9 years in a variety of settings, collecting a broad range of experience with diverse clients. I have a huge passion for working with individuals who have often felt misunderstood & mistreated by systems in their lives & I strive to build trusting & safe relationships with each client I see. My clinical training has afforded me the ability to work with a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, personality disorders, & disordered eating. I have a special passion for working with individuals struggling with intergenerational trauma, issues related to body image & disordered eating, as well as issues related to race, culture & identity. My therapy approach focuses on understanding each individual’s early history, attachment patterns, culture, identity & the roles within their systems. I work to provide a safe, collaborative, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment that is open to all identities & culturally responsive.
