I am independently licensed to provide mental health services in the state of Kentucky as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, currently serving adolescents and adults. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Mountain State University in West Virginia and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I work with a variety of clients to assist with mood management, behavior management, life transitions, and recovery. I utilize evidenced based practices including strengths-based and client-centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that success in therapy occurs when a trusting, patient-centered, collaborative relationship is established in which clients feel safe to share and address personal needs.
