Openings are currently available! I have both weekly and bi-weekly openings currently. Welcome to Storyboard Counseling! My name is Javin (like Gavin with a ‘J’), and I appreciate you stopping by. You are already showing great strength in reaching out for help in seeking counseling support. In the creation of films, tv shows, video games, and other mediums, storyboards are used to show potential events of a story, a “rough draft” in images of what is going to happen. Some panels on a storyboard are locked in and cannot be changed. However, there are many elements of a story that can evolve and change in its making. I chose the idea of storyboards in relation to counseling per my love of film and its unique abilities to reflect the human experience. As a counselor, I hope to collaborate with you in exploring the growth and change you want to see in your story from a standpoint of openness, communication, humor, and compassion. I specialize in helping clients through issues of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. It can be challenging to know whether we are approaching the important things in our lives in the best way or as our fullest selves.
