Stress and conflict happen in all contexts (home, work, life). It becomes a problem when you are unable to resolve your conflicts and it begins to take over your life. If you find that you are battling with the person or people you are closest to, it becomes even more of an issue. I have spent 37 years working with individuals, couples and families who have experienced varying levels of stress, conflict and problem-solving dilemmas in their life. I also work with addictions, parenting and conflictual relationships through referrals from private parties, the Court and The Dr. Phil Show. I work with individuals, couples and family's who are experiencing issues they find they are unable to resolve with their own "tools". I specialize in using a Solution Focused/ Systemic point of view which, contrary to other therapeutic models, does not place blame on the client but the situation. "The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem". The Sloane Center believes in a team approach and will work with all outside professionals including Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, Lawyers, and other mental health professionals involved in your care.
