As a spouse to a retired service member and mother to three amazing children, I can offer an “insider’s” perspective to military (active or retired) families. I have a passion for being able to support our military members, veterans, and their families. Through my internship and practice I also developed a strong pull for working with teens and the LGBTQIA+ population. I am still learning how to be a good ally and working hard to practice inclusivity and supportive counseling both in my practice and my life. I enjoy working with teens and young adults as they navigate the struggle of everyday life, helping them to find peace. I take an eclectic view of theoretical bases and pull from a variety of modalities, techniques, and theoretical practices.
