I specialize in working with individuals experiencing relationship issues, acculturation challenges, and identity exploration. I work with children of immigrants LGBTQIA+ adults and people of color. My approach is non-judgmental, collaborative, and sometimes humorous. I aim to create an affirming environment where you can openly discuss your stressors, preferences, questions and everything in between. My work is informed by my identity as a queer, first-generation, Latinx woman. I utilize intersectionality and trauma-informed frameworks to meet you where you are, with special consideration of your multiple identities, lived experiences, sociocultural contexts, and goals for therapy. My goal is to support you in strengthening your self-image, coping mechanisms, and relationships in order to promote agency and interconnectedness. I view our work together as a collective healing process. I believe that through collaborative mental health work, we can heal our communities.
