Grief can be isolating. You might be scared to feel the gravity of a loss, afraid you will fall apart. The pain is unavoidable, however, the suffering can be reduced by learning healthy ways to cope and build meaning. In addition to grief work, I enjoy working with adults struggling with anxiety/OCD as well as postpartum concerns. Being a parent is both wonderful and brutal. You are trying to survive adjusting to a totally new way of life. It can be challenging, but you are not alone. I will help you strategize to most effectively utilize your support system and walk with you as you navigate this period. For OCD, I use ERP (exposure and response prevention). I work compassionately with you to help you reclaim your life from doubt & uncertainty. I also utilize CBT, person centered, and solution-focused approaches. I have an eclectic approach, taking into account the person as a whole and what is most effective. Clients tend to describe me as approachable.
