My practice is providing mental health counseling as a trauma-focused Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in the mental health field for over twenty years working with diverse populations. I have always prided myself on providing a safe environment for whom I am working with. My desire for entering the helping profession began as a result of my own experience with healing. I specialize in trauma/PTSD and the issues that result from that trauma; anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, avoidance of emotions, relationship issues, etc. I am trained in multiple therapy modalities, but I am most passionate about EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy in treating trauma. Since 2012 I have worked with combat veterans, current service members, and survivors of military sexual trauma and witnessed their healing journey from traumas and negative life experiences.
