Taking the initial step to seek help is one of the hardest things to do, so the fact that you're looking is a big step! Hi, my name is Jacquelyn and I am glad that you're here! I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults because I feel the most connected with these populations due to my age. I have done a lot of work with anxiety, depression, and stress management in my practice, but am open to other avenues! Two mottos for counseling are "baby steps are still steps" and "be patient and kind with yourself!" The approaches I work through are a mixture of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am currently in the process of obtaining a Batterers’ Intervention Program (BIP) certificate to work with offenders and victims in the state of Kentucky.
